Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante

Whilst attention is drawn to the V12-powered Aventador, Lamborghini has proven that there’s life left in the smaller Gallardo by committing the soft top version to the full Superleggera treatment which involves judicious use of carbon fibre – notably for the diffuser, rear spoiler, transmission tunnel, door panels and seat shells – which saves a tidy 65kg, all the better to get the best from a mildly tweaked 5.2-litre V10 engine which now gives another 10 horsepower.

Specifications

EngineV10, 5204cc
Transmission6-speed, single clutch paddle shift, 4WD
Peak power562bhp @ 8000rpm
Peak torque398lb ft @ 6500rpm
