After the troubles last month it was nice to get the car back in rude health. Well, that's not strictly true; the service was completed at 8400 miles but many of the faults remain. The electric windows seemed to cure themselves - one morning the passenger window started dipping again as the door was opened. Unfortunately, the driver's seat hasn't followed suit and is still reluctant to let people into the rear, while the fuel gauge still won't go past 3/4 full, despite Wollaston BMW spending a morning trying to cure it.
As seems usual with dealers these days, the service booklet hadn't been stamped but they did try to charge me £127 for the service before realising that we bought the car with 'TLC' included. That's the incredible £100 servicing package that covers all parts, servicing and labour over the first five years and/or 50,000 miles. How do they do that?
