Vauxhall's VXR likes a drink, but it's not the only one...

Consequent to my BA Baracus attitude towards aeroplanes,
I recently found myself piloting the longest long-termer to Frankfurt and back.

The hand-tamped, farmyard-grade concrete that is the Belgian motorway was faithfully described by the sizeable tyres, and I discovered that the VXR also likes a drink, much in the same way Keith Floyd does. Otherwise it’s a fine pan-continental machine: smooth and long-legged on the autoroute; on-off turbo and torque-steery giggles in something the size of your sitting room on the twisty bits. It can also swallow 96 cases of French lager…
