Last month's group test took its toll on the BMW. First Jethro encountered some clutch slip, then Andy saw the brake pad warning light flicker. To be fair the car spent 5000 miles as a press demo before our tenure, and has since seen another 20K of 'keen' use. But the pads are original and the total servicing costs are barely £40 so I think we're due some outlay. The bad news is that we're reaching the end of our time with the car, but then nothing lasts forever, not even BMW brake pads...
