Audi RS6 Avant

If you're lucky enough to be running an RS6, don't believe the fuel range indicator. I say this after several times anxiously coaxing ours to the nearest petrol station with the display showing a worrying zero. Fill up and the computer reckons you'll be able to travel around 400 miles before the next need refill - in fact you rarely go 280 miles before it's telling you to fill up again. Also, I've driven 15 miles with the big red zero showing, only to find the nozzle clicks off 8-10 litres short of the stated 82-litre capacity. How annoying is that? And another thing. You park up with the range showing 40 miles, only to find it drops to zero moments after starting up a few hours later. And naturally it always happen late at night when nowhere's open.

Maybe if I got out more I'd find more important things to get angry about. I think it could be an age-related problem.
