Smart Roadster

The Roadster Coupe has continued to perform reliably, attracting an amazing amount of attention along the way. The only glitch was when the car refused to unlock one evening using the remote key. In the dark I couldn't see how to remove the plastic cover that masks the keyhole on the door so I couldn't even get in manually.

When the very nice man from the RAC arrived he diagnosed a dead battery on the remote and managed to coax enough life back into the tiny battery cell using a huge pair of jump leads to get the car started and get me home to my spare key.

I also managed to lose the detachable front panel from the Alpine stereo. A replacement unit set me back ΂£160. I must be more careful in future.
