But the Rangey feels so comfortable at high speed, it encourages you to push on. Once into the bends, the Dynamic Response system does a great job keeping it controlled and cornering flat, though there's the nagging feeling you shouldn't really be travelling this quickly in such a large/ heavy vehicle and with that recorder on board.
The size of the Rangey has also attracted the anger of Jethro's raving socialist auntie. She thought the Sport was 'outrageous' and 'disgusting' and was generally appalled that her nephew had driven to a family wedding in London in such a monstrosity. Obviously just jealous.
I also attracted some flashing blue lights sitting on top of a white T5. It wasn't for being naughty, but Mr Policeman told me my lights were set too high and needed adjustment before sending me on my way. Being a law-abiding citizen, I booked my Range Rover Sport into Hartwell Land Rover, Northampton, a couple of days later to get them checked. They were within tolerance, but as I've had a few drivers flash me at night I thought I'd get them lowered as they seem plenty bright enough anyway. Plus, I've had quite enough of flashing lights this month...
