Lexus revealed the new generation of the IS at Geneva, the first update of the rear-drive 3-series rival since its launch in 1999. There will be two models available initially, the auto-only IS250, fitted with a 2.5-litre V6 producing around 200bhp, and the IS220d with a 2.2-litre 4-cyl turbo diesel boasting 175bhp and 295lb ft of torque, which marks the first time a diesel has been fitted in a Lexus.
