Formula Anti Glare - tested

anti glare

06th September 2008

While this little pink stick doesn’t look like much, it claims to keep your glass and mirrors water, steam and glare-free. The new Formula Anti Glare is easy to use – just rub on and buff off – although for best results ours needed a couple of applications.

We found a little went a long way, and the firm recommends you re-use the cloth. Either way, it dispersed water easily. It also stopped the cabin of one test vehicle steaming up and appeared to keep the glass clean for longer.

The stick is especially handy for mirrors – you don’t need to wipe off the moisture that can collect on them overnight.

In fact, the only real drawback is the stale smell, but this disappears once you have applied it. Formula Anti Glare won’t break the bank, either, especially as you can currently get four sticks for £20 including postage.

Problems? Smells really terrible and requires a couple of initial applications before it starts giving optimum performance.
So why buy? Can be used inside and out to stop fogging and act as a water repellent.
