RML happy with progress so far

Andy Wallace and the number 25 RML crew are happy with the way things are going in their Lola HPD

Andy Wallace reckons there’s plenty more to come from the RML squad after finishing up 5th in the LMP2 class. ‘We were quicker in free practice and finished that session in third,’ he said. ‘But we decided to concentrate on getting the car right for the race rather than nailing a quali lap. That said, Tommy [Erdos] was on a hot one and was well up in the first two sectors but couldn’t complete the lap because of traffic.’

‘Today the plan is for both Mike [Newton] and myself to get more laps in. If it rains we probably won’t do a lot of running because we’re happy with the way it performs in the wet, and the risk of tripping a spinning back marker is quite high. There were enough people throwing it at the scenery in dark last night, and it was dry then!’
