A sign of the average motorist's irrationality was uncovered in a recent survey conducted by Moto and BSM. Almost a third of drivers questioned admitted to hogging the middle lane even in lightly trafficked areas - and then went on to say that other motorists' lane-hogging was amongst their pet hates!
