Renault has made improvements to enhance the Mégane's circuit performance, most notably by adding a limited-slip differential

We enjoyed our long-term Mégane Renaultsport 225 Trophy mightily on track, and now Renault has made improvements to enhance the Mégane's circuit performance, most notably by adding a limited-slip differential.

Called the Mégane Renaultsport 230 F1 Team R26 (a nod to the current Renault F1 car), it also gets a 5bhp power increase and comes as standard with the ‘Cup’ chassis and Brembo brakes.

Renault concedes that the slippy diff can call for 'a certain degree of driving skill’ because of the resulting torque-steer, but insists that the Mégane’s front suspension design limits the problem.
