Subaru's marketing men made it the worst kept sceret, with teaser after teaser. Thankfully now they've come clean at the Tokyo Motor Show.
With intercooler modifications, amongst others, the revised new turbocharged 2.5 litre ‘boxer’ engine now produces 300 PS at 6,000 rpm with torque of 300 lb ft at 4,000 rpm – increases of 19 PS and 11 lb ft respectively on the old model.
First UK deliveries are expected in spring.
