Wiesmann available in UK and Toyota weighs up next year's Le Mans

TOYOTA is considering competing at Le Mans in 2009 – with a hybrid race car. Fresh from winning the Tokachi 24 hours in Japan last year with a hybrid Supra, Toyota is keen to enter a hybrid racer at Le Mans in an attempt to copy the success Audi has enjoyed with its diesel-powered R10. Toyota believes that a win will result in increased hybrid sales at dealerships.
