Pininfarina creates one-off coachbuilt Drophead coupe

Pininfarina has revealed that it is working on a very special project for a wealthy client. Christened Project Hyperion, the base car is a Roll-Royce Drophead Coupe, but the customer has asked the Italian design house to create an even more exclusive, two-seater convertible in the style of the great coachbuilt cars from the 1930s.

For now, all that Pininfarina has released is the teaser shot shown above. We’ll get to see the car for real when it makes its debut at the famous Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, California, in August.
