New Lambo: take 3

Third teaser shot in the countdown to Paris unveiling

Another day, another drip-fed photograph showing a teasing glimpse of the new Lamborghini. There’s no firm information yet, but it appears more and more likely it’ll be a four-door coupe in the vein of the Aston Martin Rapide and Porsche Panamera, named ‘Urus’.

The picture reveals a sleek, slim tail-light that has the pointy-arrow LEDs present in the Reventon and LP560-4 lamps. It also reveals the shut-line of what is likely to be the boot (or even hatchback, we don’t know) of the more practical Lambo we’re expecting.

There’s also another sneaky little tag-line, reading ‘A new Lamborghini. The elegant realisation of technical potential’. It seems to pin-point some advances in technology that could make the ‘Urus’ stand out against its high-profile competitors.

We’ve already seen a glimpes of rear diffuser and front wheel. Check back here next week to see the new car in full, and in the meantime, talk about it here. Exciting times.
