Electric Ruf

If you still think electric motoring is best left to milk float drivers, think again!

This battery-powered 911 from Ruf – the company behind the iconic CTR ‘Yellow Bird’ – might just change your mind. The eRUF Model A boasts 201bhp, a 140mph top speed and a sub-7sec 0-62mph time. The headline figure, though, is its 479lb ft of torque, all of which is available from idle. The range is 150-200 miles.
