Is Peugeot ditching its GTI hot hatch range? Reports circulating around the web at the moment certainly suggest so.

It makes for a shocking headline, but perhaps shouldn’t be too much of a surprise. The only Peugeot hot hatch currently on sale is the underwhelming 207 GTI, a far cry from its legendary 205 GTI forebear.

Peugeot is set to concentrate on more premium sports cars like the RCZ coupe, leaving a gap in its line-up previously filled by some of the cars below.
