Pictures of BMW’s M3 Competition Package have been revealed. The optional £3315 kit sees the performance car’s suspension dropped 10mm, a newly developed sports mode for the electronic damping, revised (more playful) stability control and some new alloys that lighten each corner while aping the wheels from the E46 M3 CSL. Carbonfibre styling addenda is available, too.
The Competition Package is available on two and four-door M3s, the Saloon setting you back £54,275 and the coupe costing £55,365. Both cars see their 414bhp V8 engines untouched. For the full M3 Competition Package story, click here.
Other big M Division news is the introduction of start/stop technology to the M3. Depending on your transmission choice, fuel economy can be improved by eight per cent and carbon emissions dropped by 24g/km.
