The Mazda 6 will get a performance derivative within the next two years. It will be badged MPS and should produce more power than the 217bhpMondeo ST220 whose platform it shares. The MPS will also feature four-wheel drive for maximum security. Mazda hopes this range-topper will complement the upcoming RX8 coupe in creating a 'halo effect' for the entire brand.
