Geneva 2011: Bentley Continental GT SS ISR convertible

To celebrate the recent World Ice Speed Record attempt, Bentley has lauched the ISR edition.

Bentley has launched a new limited edition convertible version of the outgoing Continental GT Supersports to celebrate its recent record-breaking efforts. Dubbed the ISR (for Ice Speed Record, which the Bentley now holds at 205.48 mph), it will be limited to just one hundred cars.

The ISR gains a sports exhaust system along with a new air intake and intercooler over the standard car. This has liberated another 10 bhp from the 6.0 litre twin-turbo W12, bringing the total figure to 641 bhp. Torque stands at 590 lb. ft., allowing the ISR to hit 60 mph from a standstill in 3.8 seconds. Top speed is 202 mph.

Cosmetically, the ISR is identifiable from the standard car by new twenty-inch alloy wheels and three unique colours- Beluga, Quartzite and Arctica White.

Further alterations can be found inside, where the ISR is equipped with red carbon fibre trim, diamond quilted Alcantara accents and the infotainment system from the new Continental GT.

The record breaking car can be seen in the images on the right...
