Specced in a tame colour the Audi R8 is not exactly the most subtle car out there, even in its least powerful V8 guise. But Audi USA has recently launched the ‘Exclusive’ personalisation programme for customers who feel that their new R8 supercar needs to stand out from the crowd that little bit more. Audi UK already offers an Exclusive personalisation program for all R8s.
 
The programme, announced on Audi USA’s Facebook page, will allow customers to personalise the paint and interior upholstery of their new car. Unique to the scheme are nine new exterior colours for the body and sideblades and a whopping 17 new options for the interior, all of which can be mixed and matched in any way the customer wishes with thousands of combinations possible. This suggests that the only restriction will be the customer’s imagination (or self-confidence!).
 
Prices in the UK start at £2450 for the R8 V8 coupe and £1735 for the V10 and R8 Spyder.
