Alfa Romeo has unveiled a special edition Mito. It's based on the 168bhp Quadrifoglio Verde (or Cloverleaf, as it’s more commonly known), which uses a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine and covers 0-62mph in 7.5sec. The Mito SBK Limited Edition gets a black and red exterior colour scheme with a more muscular body kit and a host of decals.
The same scheme continues inside, with a pair of red stitched Sabelt Alcantara sports seats, which are carbonfibre backed, and red stitching for the steering wheel and gearstick, too. Dual zone aircon, Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control and rear parking sensors are also standard fit.
The Alfa Romeo Mito Quadrifoglio Verde SBK Limited Edition costs £21,595 (and has one of the more tongue-twisting names in motoring). With a regular Mito QV costing £18,760, Alfa claims a £1200 saving when you consider the SBK’s wealthy spec. Just 28 are set to make it to the UK.
Alfa Romeo concocted a bold way to promote the new SBK. Check out the video – featuring stunt driver Paul Swift – below…
