Bugatti Veyron
Veyron Latest

Bugatti's Veyron supercar has been delayed - again. Despite VW group bosses promising deliveries in mid-2003, the Veyron will not roll out of the factory until the second half of 2005. There have been numerous problems with the car, including developing tyres capable of running at the targeted top speed of over 400kph (250mph) and lift at very high speed. And now cooling problems - the 987bhp V16 engine generates huge amounts of heat - have resulted not only in more holes in the elegant bodywork, but the addition of more radiator capacity. This has skewed work already completed on the chassis set-up. There are also believed to be glitches with the car's UK-built seven-speed DSG gearbox.
