Alfa Romeo is still working on the feasibility of building the beautiful 8C Competizione. The latest proposal is that it should be priced below the Maserati Coupe (£61,000), which is lower than was previously expected. The feasibility plan is geared to building around 1000 cars, perhaps 250 a year, and running prototypes will be out testing later this year, with the proposed launch pencilled-in for 2006. The 8C would be sold in today's dealer network alongside current Alfa models.
