BMW's hydrogen-fuelled 6-litre V12 H2R concept has smashed previous hydrogen-powered speed records at the Miramas Proving Ground in France. It hit 62mph from rest in 6.0sec and recorded a top speed of 187mph. It also set records for a flying start mile and standing start 1/4 mile, amongst many others. A hydrogen-powered 760i goes into production next year.
