Despite soaring petrol costs, it seems we Brits can't get enough 8.3-litre V10-engined 150mph pick-ups that seldom break into double-figures fuel consumption.

Which is why Chrysler is to officially import the 500bhp Dodge Ram SRT-10 Quad Cab, left, as well as the 5.7-litre Laramie version.

Chrysler reckons that at ΂£39,995 plus VAT if you're suitably registered (΂£44,644 if you're not), its SRT-10 prices should undercut the grey importers by about ΂£4K, and you get a three-year/60,000-mile warranty, too. That has to be worth a Yee! and, quite possibly, a Ha!
