WSR trackday special

West Surrey Racing has revealed a design rendering for a trackday car which, in addition to being suitably swift around the circuit, promises a degree of practicality and on-road usability rarely found in cars of its type.

Brainchild of design engineer Dan Horstman, and styled by Steve Everitt, the WSR car looks too wild to be anything other than a track-only affair. However, its creators say that it will be able to tackle obstacles like ferry ramps with ease, will have reasonable luggage space and simple-to-use weather equipment.

Weight should be around 450kg and power is likely to come from a superbike engine. If there's enough interest in the car then WSR will consider a limited production run.
