Le Mans or bust: Win a slot on a supercar test

To mark the 50th anniversary of the Lotus Eleven's debut in Le Mans evo drives to this year's event in a Westfield replica

It's 50 years since Lotus entered its immortal Eleven in the Le Mans 24hrs for the first time, and to mark the occasion, evo's Roger Green and Peter Tomalin will be driving to this year's event in the Westfield replica of the Eleven which they built themselves!

They're aiming to get there in under 24 hours, starting from evo's base in Northamptonshire, taking the ferry from Dover to Calais, and making the journey down through France steering clear of the autoroutes. If the car breaks down, they have to fix it - there'll be no trailer to tow them the rest of the way!

To win the chance to join the evo team on our next big supercar test, all you have to do is guess how long it will take Green and Tomalin to get the Eleven from Evo Towers to Le Mans. To place your bet, click on the link at the end of this article - the guess closest to the actual time wins. The competition closes at midday on Friday June 16.

If you're going to Le Mans this year, look out for the evo crew in the Audi campsite, and if you see the evo Eleven en route to Le Mans, don't forget to wish our lads the best of British. They'll need it...

Tune in here!
