Fresh from the unveil of the fettled Boxster and Cayman at the LA Auto Show, we've spotted some new Boxsters out testing. The first four pictures show a Speedster version of the current-gen Boxster, with a new, smaller canvas roof and a rumoured 300bhp from the Porsche Boxster Design Edition's engine. It'd mean an all-new bodystyle for Porsche, the speedster sitting neatly alongside the more conventional convertible - but with a higher price tag, closer to £45,000, likely.
The last two shots show the all-new, third iteration of the Boxster out for some first testing on the road. No details on this one, but it won't be seen until at least 2011 - probably at the Geneva motor show. These sightings of the car coincide nicely with the updated second-gen Boxster - Porsche was never one to rest on its laurels...
