There’s a new monster AMG storming the streets - and we’ve got the photos!
This is the facelifted S-Class AMG, subtly changed to keep it in line with revisions due on the standard Mercedes luxury saloon.
As with most German refreshes, this one is very minor. The lack of disguising shows just how few changes there are, but the one solitary section of black taping does highlight the main exterior change – a new, lower front fascia.
At the back, the quad exhaust pipes have had their tips removed, hinting that a new design is on the way.
The tail lights have a brighter finish to the indicator sections, while the lack of badges on this car means it could be either the S63 or S65 AMG. Both models are set to keep their current engines – a 6.2-litre V8 in the S63 and a 6.0-litre V12 in the S65 – but will likely receive some technology upgrades.
Prices should receive a light makeover too, meaning the S63 AMG will creep ever closer to the £100,000 mark, and the flagship S65 AMG Limousine will break the £150,000 barrier!
