McLaren F1 F1 record-breaker

We capture the moment when a delivery mileage McLaren F1 fetches £2.3M

Evo went along to the RM auction held at Battersea Park in London last night (29th October) to see what happened when a delivery mileage McLaren F1 went under the hammer. Guided at £1.1M-£1.3M, rumours were rife that it could go for as much as £1.5M.

How wrong we all were; the final hammer price was £2.3M, to which you have to add 10% buyers premium and VAT, so that's £2.57M in total! The buyer turned out to be American who promises he bought it for driving. Just what we want to hear, lucky chap.
