Pagani Zonda R

Pagani's wildest Zonda unleashed on the roads around the factory in Modena

Pagani invited a small group of Zonda owners over to the factory last week, in order to take part in a three-day tour of Tuscany. Before we all left Horacio organised a quick demonstration on the wild Zonda R. This wasn't on track though, it was to be around the public roads near where Pagani are based in Modena.

It was hardly a surprise when, after several noisy runs in the slick-tyred, non-taxed or registered- Zonda R, the Police turned up for a closer look at what was going on.

After checking the test driver's licence, Pagani got away with just a 28 Euro fine for excessive noise but, apart from that, everything was deemed to be fine! Wish we had some Italian Police around the evo office, it would make life so much easier. Harry Metcalfe
