Based on the 959, the Porsche 961 was the only four-wheel-drive car to ever race at Le Mans. On its debut in 1986 it finished an impressive seventh overall, but unfortunately the race wasn’t quite so successful the following year – it crashed and caught fire. The 2011 Goodwood Festival of Speed was the very first time it has been seen outside Stuttgart since Le Mans ‘87 and Roger Green was the first to drive it.
