Henry Catchpole was the first UK journalist to be allowed to drive the new Mini Countryman WRC car and this is a short video of his rather enjoyable afternoon. The test track was Prodrive’s private facility at Kenilworth – tight, technical and ideal for a few handbrake turns... The £450,000 cars were being shaken down before being shipped out to Germany where Dani Sordo would go on to score a podium in the team’s first ever tarmac rally.
