We take a look at the story of Ayrton Senna's legendary win in the one-make Mercedes 190E race at the Nurburgring in 1984

The story of how Ayrton Senna, a relatively unknown rookie F1 driver at the time, went to the Nurburgring in 1984 and beat a number of former World Champions in the Mercedes 190E one-make race on equal terms is often seen as one of the Brazilian's pivotal moments.
