New Audi RS6 pumped to 720bhp by Mansory

As if the standard car wasn't enough, Mansory has applied its hand to the new C8 Audi RS6

The new RS6 is arguably the pinnacle of the fast estate, with Audi mating a larger pair of turbochargers to its 4-litre V8 for increased power output and performance over that of its predecessor. As is the way of the world, Mansory has turned it up even further, and added more carbonfibre for good measure.

Aside from the new black and orange paint scheme, separating Mansory’s take on the RS6 from the standard car is a host of carbon aero additions. Upping aggression, and perhaps downforce, are new side skirts, a new front splitter and a fresh grille surround. Lighter 22-inch Mansory YN.10 or YN.5 wheels can also be optioned, wrapped in 295-section rubber all-round.

A carbon bonnet complete with cooling vents, and an aggressive diffuser, can also be found, the latter encompassing the new quad-tipped exhaust system. As if the roof spoiler wasn’t enough, Mansory has also added a second, subtle lip just beneath the rear window.

As is to be expected from a Mansory product, the powertrain hasn’t remained standard. Up from the factory 592bhp and 590lb ft figures, the fettled car sends 720bhp and 737lb ft of torque to all four wheels – no performance figures have been provided, but we’d imagine it will better the 3.2sec 0-62mph time and 155mph top speed (190mph with limiter removal) of the standard model. Exactly how the German brand has extracted this power hasn’t been disclosed.

The cabin also receives attention, with copious amounts of additional Alcantara, carbon and a black and orange theme making an appearance. The steering wheel is retrimmed in Alcantara for improved grip, with the airbag portion now adorned with the Mansory logo. New Mansory carbon trim can also be found throughout, including on the steering wheel, centre console and door cards.

Pricing and availability hasn’t been revealed. However, the new Audi RS6 begins at £89,900.
