The Hypercar Holy Trinity 200mph Challenge

New event lets you drive a LaFerrari, P1 and 918 at 200mph

Auto Vivendi is offering you the chance to drive three of the world’s fastest hypercars at 200mph at its Hypercar Holy Trinity events next year. The London-based supercar club is letting drivers get behind the wheel of the 950bhp LaFerrari, 903bhp McLaren P1 and 875bhp Porsche 918 to drive flat out along the 2-mile runway of Leicestershire’s Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground.

The events include warm-up runs in three evo-approved supercars. Drivers will first charge along the runway in a 562bhp Ferrari 458 Italia, before sampling the strip again in a 616bhp McLaren MP4-12C and 552bhp 991 Porsche 911 Turbo S. Though all three cars can reach 62mph in a little over 3sec, they’ll do little to prepare drivers for the trio that comes next.

The numbers speak for themselves. The LaFerrari can reach 62mph in a claimed 3sec, the P1 can do the same in 2.8sec, and, thanks to its complex four-wheel-drive system, the 918 can hit 62mph in as little as 2.6sec. But they don’t stop there, because their hybrid-electric powertrains can blast all three cars past 124mph just a few seconds later – the P1 leads the way, taking just 6.8sec to reach the milestone.

Keep the throttle pinned, and there’s more than enough space for all of these cars to comfortably surpass 200mph at Bruntingthorpe, meaning their drivers will join a very exclusive club often restricted to the likes of racing drivers and supercar road testers.

To prove you’ve made the 200mph mark and capture the event, each car is equipped with highly accurate speed-recording equipment and interior cameras. A fully qualified professional race instructor will accompany all participants, and Auto Vivendi will bring all safety equipment, a crew and refreshments in a hospitality area to ensure the event remains safe and fun.

Exact dates are still to be confirmed, but Auto Vivendi plans on hosting several Hypercar Holy Trinity events across 2016.  If buyers book before 30 September, prices start at £6250 + VAT per person or £100,000 + VAT for an exclusive 20-person group session. After this, it costs £7250 + VAT per person or £120,000 + VAT for an exclusive 20-person group session.
