Formula 1 test update

Hulkenberg leads the way in his Williams as Day 2 of the final test in Barcelona closes

Williams Formula 1 car

So who was fastest at the end of day two at Barcelona? Nico Hulkenberg in the Williams, that’s who. Bit of a surprise that, but of course this is only testing and we don’t know what fuel levels the teams are running. Even so, that’s an impressive day for the Grove outfit and the GP2 champion. Alonso in the Ferrari and De La Rosa in the Sauber were just behind, and the Force India looked strong in the hands of Liuzzi, ending up fourth. No major dramas or accidents today, although Lotus lost time with a couple of hydraulic leaks and finished the day 4.9 seconds off the pace. C’mon Jarno, pull the bung out!
