SUPERMINIS

Our choice

OUR CHOICE Fiat Panda 100HP We’ve had to wait a long time for a genuinely affordable new hero car, but the Panda's the real deal. A list price of just a smidge over £10K, group 5 insurance – and as much fun as many cars costing twice as much.

Best of the rest

BEST OF THE REST The Suzuki Swift Sport held its head very high on eCoty 2006. The Mini Cooper remains a hugely desirable alternative but watch costly options, while Ford’s Sportka is getting old but remains a great little entertainer.
