Ford Mustang GT

When he can get the keys off the other staff members, Richard Meaden is reminded of how much he likes the Mustang

Ford Mustang GT

Not spent much time with the Stang of late, thanks to Harry deciding to ditch his Merc-engined Italian kit car for a week or so of driving a proper pedigree vee-hickle, then Brett Fraser Cuban-heel-and-toeing his way through Fenbilly territory before Jethro woke the genteel Sussex coastal town of Bosham with some Detroit thunder.

Those miles I have done in the Mustang have reminded me just how competent it is, both as a spirit-lifting drive and as a long-distance commuter. Even Kenny P is smitten with its combination of presence, character, ability and big-hearted performance. With it being ten years since Mr P bought the ex-Performance Car Mondeo V6 long-termer (he still has it now!), could history be about to repeat itself? Watch this space.
