The Tommi Kaira ZZ is being resurrected and will be offered for sale in the UK for the first time. Some 230 ZZs were sold in Japan but losses of £4.6 million threatened to kill off the Norfolk-built Elise rival.

It is being relaunched as the Salamander RT-190. A re-styled version will appear in three months and there are plans for a 450bhp, 200mph version in July.
