Pagani Huayra and Bugatti Veyron Vitesse video

evo's Harry Metcalfe experiences two supercar super stars - the Pagani Huayra and Bugatti Veyron Vitesse - on video

Bugatti Veyron Vitesse wing up

They are two of the most exciting cars on sale. evo’s Harry Metcalfe samples the new Pagani Huayra and Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse on video.

It makes for an exciting game of Top Trumps, but one that the Vitesse unequivocally wins. The Pagani's 6-litre twin-turbo engine, producing 720bhp and 737lb ft, is shaded by the Bugatti's 8-litre quad-turbo and its 1183bhp/1106lb ft. The Huayra's 3.3sec to 62mph and 224mph top speed are also a little lacking next to the Veyron's 2.6sec to 60mph and 255mph (which makes it the fastest convertible in the world). In the Italian car's defence, though, its £800,000 price tag means you could almost buy two with the £1.55million the big Bug commands.

But how do the two cars feel? Harry experiences the pair and lets us know in the video below...
