
Toyota Supra vs BMW M2 Competition in Wales: evo issue 265

The first step was choosing the perfect location. Neither the M2 Competition or new Toyota Supra are track cars, they’re road cars, so we took them to roads that would challenge their chassis as much as their performance, in rural Wales.

Both cars have a relatively small footprint, but the M2 Competition’s taller, fuller body makes it look the bigger car on the road. It’s longer wheelbase and more traditional 2-door saloon design also made it the more practical of the two.

Of course, summer or not, keeping two white cars clean for a shoot in rural Wales was always going to be the biggest task. Our snapper Aston Parrott was too busy “adjusting his camera settings” to help…
