The first Chevrolet Corvette was launched in 1953 at the GM Motorama show in New York. At the time it was a revolutionary step for the manufacturer due to the lightweight glassfibre body. Ever since the model has gone through several transformations, with the newest model being the most advanced ever. Here's our gallery of the Corvette's evolution through the years.
