evo's editorial director Harry Metcalfe introduces us to his sweet little Lotus Elan on video. The 1960s soft-top ranked as our sixth favourite driver's car ever back in 2009 (though Harry was on the voting panel...) and its back-to-basics modest power but light weight approach has been the blueprint for all manner of fun cars since, Mazda MX-5 and Lotus's own Elise included. Here he tells us why he owns one, and why it's so special, before taking us out for a spin.
