As these pictures prove, Mercedes is apparently planing to give it another try with their slow-selling R-Class MPV

The prototype snapped in the US wears massive disguise on front and rear. It's rumoured the car will receive a front-end design in the style of the more friendly B-Class people mover. The main problem of the R-class, however, can’t be changed by a makeover: the car is too big, too inelegant and thirsty.
