After-market John Cooper Works kit gives Cooper S a 10 percent power boost

MINI has announced a John Cooper Works Tuning Kit for the latest Cooper S. It lifts power from 172bhp to 189bhp, while torque on overboost climbs from 192lb ft to 199lb ft. The kit, which consists of an ECU remap and a new intake and exhaust, can be fitted by your dealer and will be available from the summer, priced at around £1150.
