Concours of Elegance 2017 – buy tickets now

The 6th annual Concours of Elegance takes place September 1-3 at Hampton Court Palace

The beautiful Hampton Court Palace will once again this year play host to the annual Concours of Elegance. The second time this glorious venue has played host to the Concours, it promises to be an event to remember, with 60 of the world’s most rare and beautiful cars set to appear, assembling in the gardens and forming the main part of this exclusive event.

A quick glance down the list of entries reveals some fantastic cars that we’re itching to see. Evo favourites like a Lamborghini Countach and Aston Martin DBR9 rub shoulders with everything from a 1942 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS to a 1904 Mercedes 28/32 Simplex. We're especially excited about seeing Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, too.

Concours of Elegance’s Best in Show award is, uniquely, awarded by the car’s owners, rather than a panel of judges. Each participant is asked to vote on the other models on display, to award one car with the top prize.

Along with the 60 cars on display and competing for Best in Show, hundreds of other concours winners have been invited to attend. They’ll be competing for the club trophy – a prestigious award which sees car clubs showing off the best they have to offer, for glory and the promise of a place in the following year’s Concours of Elegance event.

There’s even a display of more modern and hyper-exclusive supercars, as part of a collection bought together by evo founder Harry Metcalfe.

Of course, visitors will be allowed to explore both the field of cars and the remainder of Hampton Court Palace and its grounds. Tread carefully though, as scores of luxury brands will be out in force – you may end up parting with more of your cash than initially anticipated.
