Paris: Venturi Volage

Venturi proudly displays its latest electric sports car

Venturi has come a long way since the Atlantique, a point proven by the Volage, its two-seater electric sports car. Power comes courtesy of a 55KW electric motor in each wheel, giving total output equivalent to 295bhp in a car weighing just 1075kg. Top speed is 93mph while 0-60 is set to be sub-5sec. A range of 199 miles is possible while an 80 per cent charge takes four hours.
